Dragon Smash App Store
Puzzle game for iPhone

Four puzzles. Ten dragons. One fight.

Every level has a dragon at the top of the screen. Clear lines in Blocks, fill flasks in Potions, link colors in Connect or swipe chains in Chains, and every good move takes away some of its health. The dragons grow from a small Hatchling to the Dragon King.

The App Store page is not live yet. The game is free to download. It shows ads, and power-ups are bought with coins you earn by playing.

Dragon Smash main menu: daily gift, coins and the four games with their current dragons

The menu after a few days: the daily gift and four games, each with its own dragon.

Four games

Different puzzles, the same dragon to beat

Each game keeps its own levels. Pick whichever one you feel like today. The goal never changes: bring the dragon's health bar down to zero.

Blocks

Drag pieces onto an 8×8 board. Every full row or column hits the dragon, and clearing several at once hits harder. Every set of three pieces you are dealt can always be placed.

Gets harder: from level 5 the board starts with rocks, pieces get bigger, and later dragons throw rocks at you.

Blocks, level 25: an 8 by 8 board with rocks, candy-style blocks and the Fire Dragon

Potions

Tap a flask, then another, to pour. Every flask filled with a single color flies at the dragon. Each level is checked by a solver before you get it, so it can always be sorted.

Gets harder: up to nine colors, and from level 8 some layers hide under a question mark until they reach the top.

Potions, level 15: nine flasks of colored layers, some hidden under question marks

Connect

Draw a line from each dot to the dot of the same color. Lines can't cross. Every pair you connect is a hit, and connecting them all finishes the dragon.

Gets harder: the board grows from 5×5 to 9×9, with fewer and longer lines.

Connect, level 34: colored lines joining pairs of dots on an 8 by 8 grid, and the Ice Dragon

Chains

Swipe across three or more tiles of the same color. Longer chains hit much harder, and six or more is a super hit. Moves are limited, so plan the long ones.

Gets harder: more colors and stones on the board, and stones break only next to a chain.

Chains, level 66: a 7 by 7 grid of colored tiles and stones, and the Zombie Dragon
Ten dragons

A new dragon every ten levels

They start small and cute and end up filling the screen. Later dragons fight back: they drop rocks on your board, heal when you stop hitting them, or block part of the damage.

Hardevery 5th level: more health, faster attacks Bossevery 10th level: a bigger dragon and a bigger reward
Coins and power-ups

Earn coins, spend them on the game you're stuck in

Coins come from winning levels and from the daily gift. You spend them in the shop, which has a tab for each game. If a power-up runs out in the middle of a level, the game offers to buy one for coins or to get one by watching an ad.

What to expect

It's free, and coins can't be bought

The game is free to download. Coins come only from playing, the daily gift and optional ads. There are no paid coin packs.

Yes, there are ads

Some are your choice: watch one to double a reward, get a power-up or continue after you run out of room or moves.

In every game a short ad also plays after levels 3, 6, 9 and so on.

No level is unwinnable

Blocks never deals a set of pieces that can't be placed, and dragons never drop rocks that would make your pieces stuck. Every Potions level is solved by the game before you see it, and every Connect level is built from a finished solution. You can still lose, but only by your own moves.

Your progress stays on your iPhone
